While Donald Trump’s fortune was widely discussed in the press as he approached the presidency, his love of the game of golf was mentioned as well. Of course, at age 70 by the time of the inauguration, he plays less than he did in his younger years. Another side of his relationship with golf, though, manifests itself in the various golf courses he owns around the world. His 17 courses give the world an insight into what the values in the game.
Golf Courses Owned by President Donald Trump – Let’s discuss Thoroughly
Outside the United States—Five Courses
Dubai
Trump International Golf Club
Trump turned to Gil Hanse to design this course, which will be nestled in a multi-million dollar complex developed by DAMAC, a luxury properties company. Slated to feature the largest luxury clubhouse in Dubai, the company plans to finish the course by 2017. The putting greens and driving ranges are being designed to give players a taste of the actual conditions of the course.
Trump World Golf Club
Tiger Woods has been called in to give this course a unique touch that only a seasoned professional can envision. The second course is opening in Dubai under the Trump umbrella. Developers expect its completion by 2018.
The United Kingdom
Trump Turnberry Resort
Easily accessible from the major Scottish cities, Turnberry’s course has a history of over 100 years. This is arguably one of the closest places for players who want to get close to the birthplace of the sport. Visitors follow in the footsteps of the greats, as the locale has played host to the British Open four times and the Women’s British Open.
Trump International Golf Links, Scotland
While lacking the history of Turnberry, this course aims to live up to the expectations that people have about top courses in Scotland. The course, designed by Dr. Martin Hawtree, follows the contours of the North Sea coast, giving it a beautiful, stark backdrop and challenging play.
Ireland
Trump International Golf Links, Ireland
Also worked on by Dr. Martin Hawtree in an attempt to re-envision the course, all but two of this course’s holes play out right in front of the Atlantic Ocean. Famously, Greg Norman designed this course and won an exhibition match here. The luxurious facilities offer players everything they need to improve their game or relax after a day out.

Inside the United States—12 Courses
Florida
Trump National Golf Club Doral, Miami
Boredom will most likely not strike at this location because there are four separate courses available to players. This includes the famous Blue Monster, with its infamously difficult 18th hole, which draws players looking for a special challenge. The PGA made stops here for half a decade. The resort also boasts one of the top golf schools in the country.

Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter
Here, fans of Jack Nicklaus have a chance to play through his vision for a golf course. The construction of the course was aligned with the specific environmental factors of the area, meaning lots of water and even a green on an island.
Trump International Golf Club, West Palm Beach
Considered by many as the best course in Florida, the West Palm Beach iteration of Trump’s golf properties consists of the Championship Course and the Trump Nine. The former has played host to the LPGA; the latter gives visitors an alternative to the main course, but the courses can accommodate players of all skill levels.
New York
Trump Golf Links, Ferry Point
For golf lovers who have dreamed of seeing off within view of the New York City skyline, this course cannot be missed. Since it is a public course, it accommodates more players from the general public than some other courses. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the fairways and greens do not sacrifice any of the quality of other tournament-level courses.

Trump National Golf Club, Hudson Valley
Interestingly, this property was once a bison farm. Later transformed into a course draped within the Stormville Mountains, the course confronts players with challenges in the form of three lakes and the natural geologic formations of the rugged environment.
Trump National Golf Club, Westchester
Jim Fazio came up with the design at Westchester, and the course features a towering waterfall. With the area’s highest slope rating, the course is surprisingly a short 30-minute drive from Manhattan, giving residents or visitors to the city a great way to escape for the day. Forward tees allow less-skilled players to enjoy the course, too.
New Jersey
Trump National Golf Club, Colts Neck
One of the more striking elements of this course is the 19th hole, which allows people to view players face down a par three hole with an island green. Also, aside from the main course, a nine-hole course offers younger players or beginners a chance to improve their games.

Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster
The scheduled home of the 2017 Women’s Open and the USPGA Championship in 2022, Bedminster houses the Old Course and the New Course. The New Course runs alongside the Old Course. However, it is the Old Course that has consistently been lauded as one of the top courses in the world.
Trump National Golf Club, Philadelphia
The name of this club reflects the fact that its location—previously home to a ski resort—provides views of Philadelphia. Visitors can easily access the course from the city, which is just across the border in Pennsylvania. As the area is heavily wooded, several holes are woven around the trees for a sense of privacy.
California
Trump National Golf Club, Los Angeles
As another of the Trump organization’s public courses, people in the Greater Los Angeles metro area can take advantage of this seaside course. The rugged landscape stops abruptly at cliffs. Combining that with the sloping greens makes for some significant challenges. No expense was spared while making this course, which is one of the most expensive ever built.

North Carolina
Trump National Golf Club, Charlotte
Another venue designed by Greg Norman, the vast majority of this course has water hazards nearby thanks to Lake Norman. Several organizations across North Carolina have identified the course as the best in the state. Families can also benefit from tournament play for all levels, both friendly and competitive.
District of Columbia
Trump National Golf Club, Washington, D.C.
Located in Virginia near the Potomac River, this club has 36 holes. Of those, the Donald Trump himself designed the Championship Course; the Riverside Course resulted from the collaboration between Arthur Hills and Tom Fazio. The 2017 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship will be held here. The Trump Golf Academy offers professional instruction to students of any level all year round.

Overview
Of course, the vast majority of these clubs offer even more amenities and facilities than this list can cover. Golf professionals for lessons, extended clubhouses, pro shops, and even food and accommodation abound at these clubs. Reviews of these clubs and their services vary, but, without a doubt, they all aim at providing world-class experiences.
In terms of golf, though, one thing is clear: President Trump may be the most passionate golfer ever elected to the White House. No matter what his time in office brings, his legacy will most certainly live on in the world of golf through his investments and developments across the world. hope you link this article Golf Courses Owned by President Donald Trump? let me know your feedback.
